Better Product from Start to Finish

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do—from our fabrics, to our practices, to our partners. Because when it comes to the planet, cutting corners doesn't cut it.

We're super proud of our progress so far, but we're nowhere close to being finished.

We have recycled over

71,000,000

plastic bottles — and counting!

From Bottle to Better

From Bottle to Better Initiative; Step 1, Collect Bottles

COLLECT

We start with post-consumer plastic bottles collected from all over the world

CHOP

The bottles are sent to our factories where they are washed and chopped into flakes

MELT

The flakes are then melted
down and formed into beads

SPIN

Next, heat is applied to the beads and they are spun into yarn

FINISHED GARMENT

Finally, the yarn is woven into fabric, then sewn into a garment

Science-Based Climate Targets

We've made a formal commitment to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions — and we're pursuing independent verification of our targets through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), grounded in real climate science.

Here's what that means in plain terms: by 2031, we'll cut our direct emissions by at least 46.2% from our 2025 starting point. We get there by transitioning our company vehicles to hybrids, reducing unnecessary miles driven, and holding ourselves accountable every step of the way.

By 2050, we're committed to net zero — including the emissions embedded in our supply chain, which represent the vast majority of our footprint. That part is harder, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.

We'll publish progress annually through CDP and our Sustainability Report. You can read the full commitment letter below.

Our Carbon Offset mission statement.

Carbon Offset

REDUCED CARBON EMISSIONS, INCREASED QUALITY

Using recycled bottles in our garments means 79% fewer carbon emissions during manufacturing. In addition, we've partnered with UPS to reduce carbon pollution during shipping. Since 2022 we have mitigated over 219.856 metric tons of CO2e from the atmosphere. That's equivalent to over 43 homes' electricity use for one year.

The UPS carbon neutral and Carbon Offset program have been verified by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS).
