Care Instructions

Washing

Wash in cold water with mild detergent. For best results, wash inside out with like colors to reduce fading. Remove from the washer promptly.

Drying

Always line-dry your Storm Creek items to reduce pilling and unnecessary wear and tear. If needed, use the lowest heat setting on your dryer.

Ironing

We do not recommend ironing your Storm Creek items. Instead, steam them to remove any unwanted wrinkles.

I’ve been wearing this jacket almost daily as a windbreaker and outer shell for 3+ years. It’s long-wearing and stands up well to the near daily showers we have here in the west of Ireland. On cold days I wear a Storm Creek softshell vest or jacket underneath it (one or the other alone is good on the odd rainless day in spring or early autumn). All are great quality, sustainable, comfortable, and true to size - the last is important to me, as I wear a 2X. Now that my old waterproof parka is worn out, I plan to complete my Storm Creek wardrobe with the Explorer jacket, to keep dry on long walks and pony treks. Great stuff, thanks a million.

Women's Voyager Waterproof Packable Rain Jacket

This lightweight jacket helps a great deal with the rain. The zipper and extra velcro closures keep one dry. It's easy for travel as it folds up easily into a pocket. This jacket did not wrinkle up after washing as many do, which is important to me.

Well since it hasn't rained since I purchased I cannot comment on that aspect. I did get to use it as a windbreaker with heavier jacket underneath an it seemed to work well for those conditions. That was my main purpose for purchasing the windbreaker/rain jacket.
