I like this maverick knit and had purchased one what at a previous time however this new one is a different fabric from the previous one. Also the stitching is not complimentary to the quality of storm creek products
This is my second Storm Creek Maverick pullover. They are a super comfortable, snuggly and well-fitting alternative to a jacket for activities in cooler weather. I use them for horseback riding and hiking.
I love the thickness and feel of the shirt, the fit is true to size. I am not impressed by the little balls of fuzz on the inside of the arm and down the sides after only 1 wash and 2 times wearing it and may consider returning it since I don't feel a shirt of this price point should do that.

I got this pullover a few years back, and it is one of my absolute favorites! It's super soft and keeps you warm without feeling hot or sticky like some other materials do.
I am disappointed in the fabric. It is pilling after one wash. I have had other colors of this same sweatshirt for several years and no pilling. I was happy to finally get a black one but it’s looking old already. Not pleased.
The maverick is great. I love the weight and warmth. The texture is a nice flair. It's pretty true to size and the sleeves are long enough for me (5'8"). I had waited to buy this for a while, I shouldn't have. Its a great pullover. Its now in my weekly rotation!
I have 2 of these quarter zip shirts. Dark gray and the Navy blue. They are warm and fit nicely. They look like a nice quality shirt when worn. The only thing I wish is that they could be dried in the dryer! Lay flat to dry is a little ridiculous when the material is cotton and polyester and a casual shirt. I have started it in the dryer for a few minutes and then hung to dry and they did ok. But, again, for the price point and the purpose of the shirt, they really should be easy care, machine wash and dry.
In this world of flimsy fabrics and lackluster designs, this is the best casual shirt I've purchased in years. It is made with nice material - thick enough to hide muffin top, but still be comfortable indoors. I've had it less than a week and worn it 4 times (washes well, too) for shopping, over yoga clothes to the gym, late season camping and lunch with friends. Putting it in another color on my Christmas list. Can I give bonus stars?
